The Gallery and Exhibition

Both inside the museum building and in the outdoor display area, Wings of Freedom currently has 20 aircraft on display. We also have three aircraft in our restoration area, not currently on display. Our Restoration Team is responsible for the restoration and maintenance of the historic aircraft. Composed of veterans, aviation professionals, and enthusiasts, our restoration team is keenly aware of the many challenges faced with the upkeep of aircraft that are displayed out in the elements.

Most recently, the Restoration Team completed an exterior restoration of the P-3B “Orion”, and the F-4A “Phantom”, and they are back on display at the museum. They are currently restoring our: Chance-Vought F7U-3 “Cutlass” and Sikorsky H-34J “Sea Bat” helicopter for future display.

The Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum is open all year, Wednesday through Sunday, with walk-ins always welcome, guided visits, and scheduled tours for large groups. Located in Montgomery County, we are right next door to Bucks, Delco, and Chester Counties, close to Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. With nature, parks, eateries, dining establishments, shopping, and theme parks close to the museum, the museum is the perfect destination or ingredient of a family day out.
